What Does a Custom Internal Dashboard Actually Cost?

There's no fixed number, because the honest driver of cost isn't "a dashboard," it's how many different roles need their own view and how many existing tools it has to pull from.

A single-role dashboard (one owner, one screen, a handful of numbers that matter) is a small, contained build. It gets more involved when there are multiple roles that each need something different: an owner who wants exceptions and totals, a manager who needs the pipeline, and field staff who need only their own jobs for the day. That's not three dashboards, it's one system with role-based views, and it costs more to build right than to fake with one screen everyone squints at.

The other real driver is integration. A dashboard that only displays numbers you type in by hand is cheap and doesn't stay accurate. A dashboard that pulls live from your CRM, your accounting tool, and your field software so nobody re-enters anything, costs more upfront and saves real hours every week after that.

What we've built at this scale: a system that gives a whole team one login with six different role dashboards, each person seeing their own tasks and numbers, the owner seeing everything. Another example runs a full command center: thousands of live records, hot-lead flags, and a daily action queue on one screen, with zero manual entry behind it.

What you shouldn't pay for: a generic template dashboard that doesn't match how your business actually runs. The value is in the roles, the rules, and the connections, not the charts.

If you want a straight answer for your specific setup, tell us how many roles need a view and what tools you're already running. We'll scope it to that, not a price list. Start at freedmansystems.com.
